I don’t understand why it’s a crime to want to look good at the gym. I mean, I can see how wearing jewelry to the gym is unnecessary because you can’t lift with dangling necklaces or rings on your fingers without them interfering.
But really.. what does it matter if you wear some makeup? Getting a good workout means getting a good workout. You can still be attractive while you do it.

Yeah I usually go to the gym with whatever makeup and hair I wore to school. Granted, I put my hair in a ponytail, but still. I love going in there looking all cute and innocent and then knock out some deadlifts, cleans, and barbell squats.
FEAR ME.

Had to reblog this. Why? For the comments.
I 100% agree. I wear some make up to work. Yes, I am a trainer. And you know what? My appearance sells my services. We can all be delusional about that but it’s 100% true. My clients look at my fitness level to see how competent I am. Is it fair? No, but it’s true. So I want to look my best.
And when I’m done work, I workout. I don’t go and wash my face, pull my hair back and then workout. I put on my tiny spandex shorts, my sports bra and cute top. Then I take over the squat rack and lift heavy stuff while looking cute.
And you know what?
I LOVE IT.
So be judgemental all you want about how I look.
I life heavy, I look good doing it and I feel awesome.
Don’t be that girl/guy who’s standing there judging others. Be the one admiring their lifts between your own instead. Leave your opinions at the gym entrance and focus on reaching your own goals not judging others by their personal hygiene.
